At first listen to the new Ben Folds venture I must admit my thoughts were with those of Jeffywho referred to the album as a "knobby turd".

But I put the album in last night, and let it play and my thoughts changed. I found myself bobbing my head, and singing along.

A place in my heart is adapting to it.

And I must say that I like it.

Im enjoying it.

It is pure sugar, and thats what I've been needing.

Maybe its not deep, or even really funny, or challenging like we've known Ben to be, but it is Ben,and his voice is familiar.

It is Ben, and his pop sensibilities amaze me like I cant explain.

The man can write a song.

Now I will go, and tonight I will sleep like a baby.
